Battery 2030+’s 4th Annual Conference

We are thrilled to share that our project partners from Fraunhofer ISC participated in the 4th Annual Conference organized by the Battery 2030+ initiative on May 28-29, 2024, in Grenoble, France.

Dr. Marco Schott presented ReUse, one of three innovative recycling projects, alongside Renovate and Revitalise. In his presentation, he delved into our project goals and concept, providing insights into battery waste supply & sorting, cell deactivation, disassembly & fragmentation, direct recycling, and safeguarding sustainability within the scope of ReUse.

Over 300 attendees had the opportunity to hear from battery experts spanning both academia and industry. They engaged in discussions about past, present, and future projects aimed at advancing Europe's battery technology, creating a platform for vibrant discussions on the current and future state of the battery sector.
